We had a fabulous time during our ECO session this week. Amy, our ECO leader, told a wonderful story about a tricky coyote who stole all the colors of the world! Our job was to go into the forest and gather as many colors as we could to protect them from the trickster! The kids were using their "owl eyes" to search and locate as many colors as possible. It was awesome!
During ECO this student said, "I sat here, and I sat here before but I never noticed this green!" ( He was talking about the green on the tree) The students really start to notice and observe all that is around them!
During ECO the kids have each found their own quiet spot where they go to reflect, draw and write in their special ECO journals.
